Financial Policy

            Section I

No monies shall be raised for the support of the church and its various activities by any but the Biblical plan of tithes, offerings, gifts, and sacrificial love considerations for Christ’s work.  This shall be construed to mean that church suppers and bazaars are not Scriptural means of raising money.

            Section II

(1)    It shall be the policy of this church to support only approved Baptist missionaries and Baptist organizations.  Preference shall be given to those who have GARBC approval, as long as the GARBC requires a fundamental stand to grant approval.  The Church shall hear the Missionary (or a representative of the organization) speak at one of their regular services before supporting him.

(2)    No Missionary, nor organization shall receive support by or through this church unless they hold to the Historic Baptist Fundamental stand, and meet the requirements of paragraph 1 of this section.

Section III

All monies disbursed by this church shall be done by the approval of the Church, or its Deacon Board.
