Section I
Business Meetings
(1)
The fiscal year of the church shall close on December 31.
Election of officers
- - The annual business meetings of the Church for the election of Officers for
the next fiscal year shall be held the second Wednesday night of December.
Report & Business
- - The Annual Business meeting of the church for the presentation of annual
reports and other business shall be held the third Wednesday night of January.

If the lack of quorum prevents conducting business at any business
meeting a second meeting may be called in accordance with Article V, Section I,
Paragraph 5. If there is a lack of quorum at this meeting, another meeting may
be called at which time the majority vote of the members present shall rule in
lieu of a quorum.
(3)
Quarterly business meetings shall be held on a designated prayer meeting
night in April, July and October. Reports of the various officers are to be
given at this time, and the necessary business transacted.
(4)
It shall be the duty of the members to meet at least once each week for
prayer and Bible Study. Such nights may be used for conducting any routine
business of the church. For those times a quorum of 20% of the legal voting
members is required, one of whom is from the Board of Deacons.
(5)
Special meetings may be called by the pastor, the Board of Deacons, or by
the clerk at written request of ten members in good standing and representing at
least four families. Meetings shall be announced with a statement of purpose
from the pulpit at two preceding services - - one, a Sunday morning service and
one a week day service.
(6)
The Church shall meet at least twice each Sunday for worship. The Lord’s
Supper shall be observed the first Sunday of the month with any deviation under
the jurisdiction of the pastor and the Board of Deacons.
Section II:
Quorum
(1)
It shall require 20% of the active voting members to constitute a quorum
for the conduction of business in annual, quarterly, or special business
meetings.
(2)
All members in good standing over 16 years of age shall be eligible to
vote.
(3)
The quorum for calling r dismissing a Pastor shall be 1/3 of the active
voting members, subject to Article V, Section I, Paragraph 2 and 5.
Section III:
Manner of conducting business
(1)
Parliamentary law shall be used in the conducting of business meetings.
No member shall speak more than twice on the same subject without the consent of
the church.
(2)
All questions shall be decided by a majority vote except those
specifically calling for a higher percentage in this constitution.
(3)
Order of business shall be according to Robert’s Rules of Order.
(4)
The Church reserves to itself the right to approve or reject the
recommendation of any board or committee. It is desirable that the church not
take action on spiritual or matererial matters without referring it to the
proper board for recommendation. The church may appoint a date for the board to
give its recommendation.
